Action RPG

An Action RPG game where the player takes role of a last survivor of once flourishing village. The protagonist has to find all 4 fragments of an ancient sowrds by fighting through thier evil guards and take out the main samurai boss. This game is intended for PC platform and currently at an early development stage. The purpose of this project is to strength the knowledge of the game development pipelines and also enhance the end to end product delivery skill while also grasping a deep understanding of the unity tools. This project is made along with 2 of my collegues (1 sound desginer and 1 C# programmer).


Engaging Narrative and World-Building

  • Rich Lore: The game unfolds in a world where a village is suffereing from the decision of thier careless king. He was heavily invested in cherishing his wealth and also very ignorant towards his villagers.
  • The king shoots up the taxes on the people thus increasing the crime in the village and king doesn't care about it. The village was slowly getting out of resources and it made the king very angry. He refused to listen to the pleads of the poor and ordered them to work without resources however they can.
  • This was soon noticed by an evil king who used to pray to the devil. He proposed a deal to the king that he can provide him infinite wealth and also help his villagers with resources but he has to break the ancient sword that his palace beholds in a safe place and let his people live with them.
  • The king rushed to the palace and broke the sword in 4 pieces and ordered them to be tied up to a horse and make them run in all 4 directions. Slowly the evil kings people began to live with the villagers and thier resources were always full.
  • The people were skeptical but left with no choice started using them. Those ill resources coverted everything there and people started to convert like the evil kings plan and they transformed the one of an evil kind
  • As our protagonist was halfway through conversion he decided to end the plan of the evil king himself before being converted to one of their kind

  • Level Overview

  • The level is sectioned in 4 parts with different terrain having its own kind of enemyAI and behaviours. Current version of the game consists of 1st part of the level and only the area 1 as accessible component.

  • This is where the player will begin its journey. The player will find a statue of the ancient sword similar to the one he found in a secret caverns of palace which enables the replica to store the power of the 4 ancient fragments

  • Different Enemy Types Different Type of enemies for different environment (Very Early Development Phase). The enemies range from melee attackers to ranged one and also flying enemies are in progress for area 2
